The National Science Network on Drug Abuse’s Twenty Sixth Annual International Conference will take place Thursday, October 15th through Saturday, October 17th, 2026, hosted by Arizona State University in Phoenix, AZ.
The conference is distinguished by its transdisciplinary scope, serving as a forum for scientific exchange from basic science through policy‑relevant research, with attention to shared sociocultural factors and comorbidities that contribute to health disparities across populations. It also serves as a key venue for mentoring, networking, and professional development, particularly for trainees, graduate students, and early‑career investigators, supporting recruitment, retention, and advancement of emerging scientists and promoting the next generation of leaders in substance use disorder research. We look forward to seeing you in Phoenix.
This year’s conference hotel is the Tempe Mission Palms, located at 60 E 5th Street, Tempe, AZ 85281.

NSNDA Abstract Submission Form
There is no cost associated with submitting an abstract, and it is not a commitment to attend the conference. If you submit and are not able to attend, you can withdraw your abstract without penalty. Registration information will be sent to membership when available. Deadline for submission is May 31, 2026.
A limited number of travel awards will be available for NSNDA members in good standing (up to date on membership fees) and registered participants whose abstracts are accepted for publication. Registration fees are non-refundable.
To be considered for the program, abstracts must be received by 11:59PM, May 31. Abstract acceptance is not a guarantee to receive a Travel Award.
Travel Award Eligibility Requirements:
1. Submit your abstract by May 31, 2026, 11:59PM (central time)
2. Be selected for an Oral or Poster Presentation
3. NHSN member in good standing
4. Paid registration to attend conference
5. Complete Travel Prior Document (provided after selection process in July)
